Privacy Policy

Feather & Bloom, LLC (a/k/a “Feather + Bloom) respects your privacy. We strive to use information to provide the best possible service while respecting the confidentiality of information we are entrusted with. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of personal information we may receive or collect when you use our services, as well as some of the methods we use to safeguard your personal information.

  1. Collection of Personal Information. We collect the following personal information from you either via our website, or during correspondence (digital or in person):

    a. Full Legal (and preferred) name(s)

    b.  Phone Number

    c.  Email address

    d.  Event Address

    e.  Home Address

    f.  Billing Address (if different from the home address)

  2. How we use your information. We use your personal information to provide you with personal service! We need your name and relevant contact details to ensure that we can provide you with the best possible service. We don’t add you to any email lists, solicit you for more business after the fact, or even store your personal information within a larger client database. We want to earn your business each and every time you want to use our services. 

  3. Policy on sharing your information. With the limited exception of the third party applications discussed below, we do not share your personal information with anyone outside of our team unless legally required to do so.

  4. Sites covered by this policy. Our primary site is www.featherandbloomflorals.com.

  5. Third Party Applications. While we see ourselves as genius florists, we are not software developers. As such, we utilize a few third party platforms to help us out. Those platforms have their own privacy policies, and we would highly recommend that you go check them out. By using our site (and our services) you’re also agreeing to have your data added to these third party platforms:

    a. Canva - We use this for creating your proposal. Your information will be input into our designs via plain text.

    b. Square - We use Square (https://squareup.com/) for our merchant services provider. All invoices will be sent to you via Square. In addition, your information will be held within Square’s database subject to their specific retention rules and requirements.

  6. Access to and accuracy of your information. Feather + Bloom strives to keep your personal information accurate and up-to-date. To that end, you are welcome to inquire as to what information we currently have in our possession about you. In addition, so that we can provide you with the best possible service, we ask that you update your information as and when it changes so any information used to serve you remains as accurate as possible.

  7. Keeping your information secure. Feather + Bloom values your trust in our artistic abilities and with your information. We do not take these matters lightly. To prevent unauthorized access and disclosure, to maintain data accuracy, and to ensure the appropriate use of your information, Feather + Bloom utilizes industry standard physical, technical and administrative procedures to safeguard your personal information in our possession.

  8. Not intended for children. While we certainly don’t have any “mature” or otherwise “adult” content on our site, the site, and the business, are not intended for use by children. At Feather + Bloom, we have kids, as such, protecting the privacy of children is a priority of ours. In accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (16 CFR Part 312), we do not collect or store any personal information, in regards to children under the age of 13 years old. Any information from a minor under the age of 13, to which we discover having received it in violation of this policy will be deleted including any and all of that information/accounts associated with this minor. If you believe we have any information from or about anyone under the age of 13, please contact us using the contact information below.

  9. Notification related to known breach. While unlikely, in the event of a data breach, we will endeavor to notify you of the exposure of your personal information within a reasonable period of time (a) after having discovered, or being notified of the breach, and (b) after we have stabilized Feather + Bloom from additional breaches. Once Feather + Bloom has been re - secured and is no longer susceptible to further data breaches, you will be notified using the information you have provided to us in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

  10. Cookie Policy. Cookies, not the kind you eat, consist of portions of code installed in the browser that assist the owner in providing the service according to the purposes described. Some of the purposes for which cookies are installed may also require the user’s consent.

    Where the installation of cookies is based on consent, such consent can be freely withdrawn at any time following the instructions provided in this document.

  11. Changes to this policy. While a flower's beauty is eternal, technology is not. If and when there are any changes to our privacy policy, they will be posted on our website found at www.featherandbloomflorals.com/privacy along with the date they were amended.

  12. Florida Digital Bill of Rights. On June 6th, 2023, Governor Ron Desantis signed into law Senate Bill 62 named the “Florida Digital Bill of Rights.” The main components of this new law don’t pertain to us as we aren’t big enough to merit regulation under the statute. Specifically, the statue applies to companies that make in excess of $1 Billion dollars per year. While we wish we made that much selling flowers, unfortunately, we do not. The law doesn’t go into effect until July 1st, 2024, but we thought we’d mention it here ahead of time.

  13. California Privacy Rights. While we don’t specifically market to individuals in California, we recognize that some of you may be visiting our website from there and are interested in having a destination wedding here in Florida. Under the California Online Privacy Protection Act (“CalOPPA”), we are required to inform such individuals of the personal information we may collect. CalOPPA is defined as the collection of personal information through the internet regarding an individual who is living in California. Some of the personal information we ask our users to give us, which would fall under the CalOPPA would be email address, telephone number and birthdate. To view a complete list of the types of information we collect, please refer back to “III. WHAT WE COLLECT” and “V. HOW YOU INFORMATION IS USED.”

  14. Nevada Privacy Rights. While we don’t specifically market to individuals in Nevada, we recognize that some of you may be visiting our website from there and are interested in having a destination wedding here in Florida. Under Nevada law, certain Nevada consumers may opt out of the sale of their personal information for monetary consideration to a person for that person to license or sell such information to additional persons. This personal information includes legal name, physical/mailing address, email address, phone number, Social Security Number, or an identifier that allows a specific person to be contacted either physically or online. While we don’t sell your information, you’re welcome to email us and let us know you’d like to take advantage of your rights under Nevada law.

  15. Choice of Law. In the event of any legal proceeding arising out of these terms and conditions, the laws in and for the state of Florida shall govern.
